about

Veronica Koltuniak got her start as a set decorator in Los Angeles where she created character driven sets for film and commercials. She opened MILDRED, a design studio in 1992 and focused her energy on furniture design & window treatments which allowed her the opportunity to work with top designers around the world as well as an A list of Hollywood clients; Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Jeff Goldblum, and Matthew Perry. Her longtime design work for Courteney Cox and David Arquette led to guest designer gigs on the TV series “Mix It Up”

Leaving Hollywood to raise a family in Austin Texas was a welcome and fortuitous change of pace. While continuing to design residences, she got her “big break” into restaurant and commercial design in this quickly growing city. Her work at 24 Diner, Easy Tiger, Irene’s and Violet Crown Cinemas has become part of the fabric of Austin, and allowed more freedom to create and experiment with ideas and design.

Currently, Veronica is living and working in Joshua Tree, California, creating community based projects that serve the residents and visitors flocking to this mysterious and magical place.
